Did you miss the handout from this week's seminar? Download this pdf

Chances are you already know about the value and importance of exercise and you’re probably even aware of most of the benefits – the important ones anyway. So what’s holding you back, is it motivation, is it joining the right gym, is it the cost of the membership?

Losing 2 to 4 percent body fat in 30 days could be achieved with healthy supportive eating when combined with exercise on a regular basis. Regular exercise should occur three to four days per week and should include both weightless and weight resistance exercises, including stretching and walking.

Cardiovascular exercise includes walking and the use of stationary bikes, treadmills, etc. as well as activities that will increase heart rate such as jump rope, dancing, etc.

Be sure to check with your physician for approval before starting an exercise program of any sort.

Commercialized diets and diet workshops are not recommended for realistic and lasting results that yield life long success. Weight loss supplements and energy drinks are very dangerous and should be avoided.

Seems odd since we have been made paranoid about this subject thanks to countless ads for supplements and weight loss clinic solutions that are all centered around calorie deprivation.

Rather than discuss the exact role of the weight loss industry relative to the subject of calories I would like to go more in depth on a subject that many of my clients have asked me to speak about, calories burned.
