Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Personal Training

  • What’s so different about working out in a gym versus one-on-one with you?
    You receive the attention you need and deserve without any distractions. Many times loud music, other members waiting on the equipment you are using, etc. can take away from the quality of your workout. Now you are in control of the workout environment and of the pace at which you learn. Working with Joe you receive customized exercise programs designed to meet your needs, reach your goals and to achieve overall superior health and fitness. Unlike the gym, your trainer won’t walk away or leave you at any time during a private one-on-one session.
  • How often do I need to exercise/train, and how often should I meet with you?
    Thanks to a careful fitness screening and evaluation process we can professionally assess your needs along with your goals and give you that advice. Typically, it is recommended that you exercise two to three days per week. How often you need assistance/motivation is all part of the fitness screening and evaluation process.
  • What about eating healthy, where can I get help for that?
    We have certified nutritional consultants available to personally coach and assist you with our program “Healthy Supportive Eating.” This is not a diet rather this is a successful lifestyle eating program that is designed to meet the needs and personal profile or each individual person. We help you gain control and teach you how to safely and effectively manage your weight while losing inches because of reduced body fat from all those problem areas.

    Fact is both nutrition and exercise are two of the key elements that need to be combined for the ultimate results. You will get the opportunity to go through a nutritional analysis of your current eating habits.

    What’s so great about that? – You will sit down one on one with your own personal fitness coach to review the results. You will learn as you are guided and monitored on a regular basis. Here is your chance to look and feel great without starving or eliminating favorite foods forever.

  • What kind of results can I expect?
    Results certainly vary according to goals, motivation and physical limitations if any. Results typically vary due to the amount of energy and commitment one wishes to put forth. You get what you put into it! For those who put forth their very best effort, the results are nothing short of exciting!

How fast will I see results?

I recommend giving yourself (your body) a chance to not only get started but to also get acquainted with the exercises and the new lifestyle that has begun. We expect to see significant results within 90 days.

Those who put forth a consistent 100% effort see the results of their hard work and feel plenty motivated to continue. Exercising 2-3 days per week and implementing our healthy eating program has worked great for so many of our clients both past and present.

With that said many see results relatively fast and feel the results even faster!

Can someone my age do this?

The average age of our clientele is approximately 55 years of age. We have fitness programs for all ages and for all levels of fitness. This is home of true fitness for anyone who is truly interested. Exercise is for everyone and in recognition of that we teach exercise as it was intended to be taught “adapted to each individual person.” We find this approach to be incredibly successful and enjoyed by all.

We work with women, men and youths ages 7 and above. We understand that fitness programs have to be customized to fit the needs of each individual. We successfully accomplish that by designing programs that are age appropriate in combination with the rest of your personal profile. Our goal is to put our clients in the ultimate position for success.

How much does it cost to do this?

Our rates are not published on our website however this information is provided during the scheduled consultation. During this time we answer any and all questions you may have, provide a free health analysis and we explain all about the rates of self-investment and more.

We apply flat rate fees so that the time we spend with each client can be flexible without the pressure or worry of it costing any more. All sessions purchased must be scheduled by appointment. Each session is completed without interruption at our studio. From the date of purchase you have one full calendar year to use the sessions you have purchased. Our goal is to be with you and in front of you, coaching you and motivating you as a team. Together we’ll win.
